Warme Regen is a project that started to bloom during the Spring of 2020. The pandemic put our lives on hold and brought with it a great sense of surreality. Time and space suddenly took on different connotations and along the way caused us to deeply reflect on our habits and values. The snapshots in this project should be seen as a search in this context for the presence of authenticity and beauty, which all too often escape our attention. My images aspire to reflect something that you feel, while at the same moment being unaware of what you are feeling. They represent a kind of personal inquiry in which I try to get closer to the feeling so I can better understand my fascination. The need to capture those special (hidden) moments when life slows down and cuts deeper, is a major driver of my photography and has become an essential part of my being.
